The Cobblemon community is buzzing with excitement, and it promises to change everything. If there’s one feature that has players counting the days, it’s Riding. Imagine the freedom of flying across mountains on your Charizard, galloping through the plains with Rapidash, or gliding across the ocean on Gyarados. Riding is set to become one of the most loved mechanics in Cobblemon, a feature that transforms the world into a vast, living adventure.

Mounts (Riding) & Cooking mechanics
You’ll be able to ride your Pokémon — one of the most requested features by the community. Exploring, traveling, and battling will feel way more immersive.
Cooking: craft food, use new crops, and build recipes. Adds another layer of survival / role-play.

Cosmetic gear & render improvements
Pokémon can now hold items visibly, and you can turn cosmetic items on/off.
New cosmetics for many Pokémon species (e.g. Squirtle lines, Dragonite, etc.).

Abilities & lightning interactions
Abilities like Lightning Rod, Volt Absorb, Motor Drive now interact with lightning and give buffs, or immunity, etc. Good synergy for weather / storm-related builds.
New recipes, items & crops
Hearty Grains — a new crop for cooking.
New food items: Poke Puffs, Ponigiri, Sinister Tea, etc.
Decorative building blocks (Tatami blocks & mats).
Visual and rendering tweaks
Pokémon mark-ings in summary UI can be toggled.
Items held by Pokémon get dynamic light (if using mods/resources that support it).
Detail updates: textures of apples, sprite updates, etc.
Fixes that improve stability / immersion
Many bugs fixed: shoulder Pokémon desyncing, rendering issues, spawn behavior, hitboxes, etc.
PC boxes open correctly, Pokédex entries more consistent, etc.
